National Trust major exhibition: One and All
Ben collaborated with three leading artists – Martyn Ware, Owen Sheers and Tania Kovats to create a digital online immersive project and exhibition at Somerset House for the National Trust in celebration of the 50 year anniversary of the Neptune project. Working with aural effects, poetry and art, the specially created pieces recognise and celebrate our powerful emotional and personal connection with the beautiful British coast.
There was a major six week exhibition at Somerset House where film works were projected in every room, in a dilapidated wing of Somerset House, creating an immersive exhibition space. Alongside this Artdocs worked with digital agency Enter the Swarm to build an online walk around the coast - across nine National Trust coastlines. Wearing headphones, the art adventurer will hear the sounds of the wind and the sea, footsteps and wildlife. Then there will be vignettes of the natural world to discover on your walk. At the end of each path there is an artist collaboration for each lead artist. The online project showed alongside the major artwork at Somerset House , and also showed at Moxilla Firefox festival.
